Dr Shruti Jayachandra

Dr Shruti Jayachandra is a specialist adult and paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with additional sub-specialisation in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive surgery.
Originally from Melbourne, Dr Jayachandra graduated from medical school at The Australian National University in 2010. She also holds a Master of Surgery from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University.
After successfully completing a highly competitive five-year specialist surgical training program in NSW, she qualified as an ENT surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019.
Dr Jayachandra was then selected for advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive surgery which she received at The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, USA.
She has published several research papers in peer- reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences throughout her career.
Her area of interest is in managing facial nerve paralysis as well as all general adult and paediatric ENT conditions. In addition to her Sydney based practice, she is also committed to providing specialist care to communities in regional Australia.
